Hotel Duomo Firenze

Absolutely wonderful location right across the street from the Duomo. Rooms had incredible storage, and the bathrooms were very roomy and clean and well appointed. The bed was one of the few beds in my italy trip where I actually slept very comfortably, and the pillows were absolutely delicious. The owner is one to make sure that you're staying in his hotel is scrumptious, And you are enjoying yourself during your stay in Florence. His staff went out of the way to make sure that we had dinner reservations at zero hour and that we enjoyed our breakfast before we left on our busy schedule in Florence. I really wish google would have more than just five star rating hotel. I will stay here again.

Absolutely loved my stay here and am so glad we booked the room with the balcony. When back in Florence i will definitely love to stay here again! Absolutely beautiful view from the Duomo view room, however all guests can look out from a shared common area. Has both stairs and elevator! Staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are cute! Only small downside would be that the doors are a little thin so you can here any loud sounds however usually it is pretty quiet as it is an intimate hotel.

We deliberately booked a room that had a stunning view of Duomo and Hotel Duomo definitely did not disappoint. By being ideally situated beside the Duomo, you will be the first up the lifts and only a small handful along the Piazza. Location See photos attached in this review. Hotel Duomo occupies the top two floors of a building. Its name is plastered on the building so it's easy to find your way. Room The room itself is good enough. It's not the biggest which is understandable considering the real estate it is sitting on. We were still able sit on the lounge chair and admire the view of Duomo. Note: Double check that your room indeed has a Duomo view Breakfast A hearty continental spread. The pictures on Hotel Duomo's website gives one an accurate idea of what to expect.

We stayed at the hotel and received the service of a warm home with a helping hand with any question. The best hotel we could ask for. The best location, central, convenient, close to all... Kind, helpful, clean, tidy, close to everything, just perfect!!!!! We will recommend to everyone and will return again and again... thank you very much.

The perfect location if you want to explore city Centre and of course famous Il Duomo. You will be minutes away from museum Ufizzi, luxury shopping stores, the oldest sinagogue/museum in Florence, beautiful restaurants and bakeries. Make sure you try the hotel’s breakfast served daily with a selection of eggs, fresh cheese, honey, pastries, etc. Get a spot on the terrace abs enjoy a breathtaking view of the cathedral. Staff is exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and personable. The rooms are modern and are very well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.

The best part of this hotel is the location and the view. We booked a double room with a baby cot/bed. And I am glad the hotel offers the baby cot because the bed is too small for 2 adults + 1 baby. The view is really nice. But it was not next to the street. It is more at the back of the building. The hotel probably occupied a couple floors of the building. So, the elevator is shared with other tenants, which was fine. However, the elevator only takes you to the 4th floor, which is the reception desk. But my room was on another floor, which has no elevator from the reception floor. Just keep that in mind, pack light. Again, i booked this hotel because of the view. The view by itself is already 5 stars. The staff is helpful, but our interaction with the staff is minimal because we spent most of the day outside. So, why 4 stars? And I hope management could view this as a constructive feedback to improve the facility. First, no elevator from the front desk to the room (which is a floor higher). Second, the bathtub design is really bad. There is only one small piece of glass cover less than half of the length, and the glass is not tall enough to prevent water bouncing out of the bath tub into the floor, which create a mess on the floor. Also, the water heater is really bad. The water gets really hot for a couple of seconds, then warm for a couple of seconds, then completely cold for a couple of seconds, even though we kept the water handle/level the same. Third, the room doesn't have a hair dryer (which I had to ask the front desk for one), or a water boiler, or any slippers. Like i said. Those are just small/minor things that I hope the hotel management could take into consideration. They were not a deal breaker for me. Overall, I like the hotel because of its location. Would I come again, yes? Would I recommend it to my family and friends, yes?
